Our aims and ambitions

The aim of the Bridgwater Petanque Club is to promote the game of petanque in the Bridgwater area and encourage people of all ages and abilities to join us and play regularly at any level they want to play.

Although we are very grateful to the Bower Inn for allowing us to play on their terrain, eventually we would like to move to a bigger purpose built facility. This would enable us to attract many more members and take part in competitions and be part of the local petanque leagues.

We have the support of the Bridgwater Town Council and we have identified a potential location. However what we lack is funding.

In the coming months we will be exploring possible sources of funding so, if you have any suggestions please contact us.

Hopefully one day soon we will have a terrain similar to the Tregony PC Cornwall
